Moles on the Face: Meaning by Position
The face is the most closely read area in Thai mole reading. Here is what a mole means on each part of the face, from the hairline down to the chin.
Forehead and temples
Centre of the forehead
One of the most fortunate places: a hard-working, capable person who succeeds in most things, gains wealth and respect and enjoys a happy marriage. Another reading adds an independent, imaginative mind that dislikes routine, with finances that rise and fall.
Forehead near the hairline
Good fortune, prosperity and many people who support you; for a woman, a good and prosperous partner. A mole high in the centre near the hairline shows a pure, kind heart that wishes no one harm.
Right side of the forehead
Wealth and steady progress, especially in public service, and a smooth life.
Left side of the forehead
A happy life with few obstacles.
Above the eyebrows
Wealth, and a talent that brings good progress in a career, especially in government or public service.
Forehead in general
A kind, generous and creative thinker who likes to help others and is supported by elders when others work against them. Some readings add that this person may live far from their birthplace but will be happy in later life.
Right temple
May leave home early but finds good patrons and supporters, and can rise to a high position.
Left temple
Full of ideas but must rely on themselves; a good start in life may need extra effort later.
Temples in general
A peaceful, humble person who saves well, is not attached to material things and is supported by elders.
Eyebrows
Inside the eyebrow
Generous and community-minded, though they should choose a few trusted friends rather than many, as not everyone around them is sincere.
Start of the right eyebrow
Self-confident, a natural leader with firm views, generous and with many friends. Another reading adds strong passions.
Start of the left eyebrow
Quick-witted and good at business, generous and capable, overcoming obstacles with skill and never short of money. If the mole sits toward the tail of the brow, take care not to take risks with the law.
Start of the eyebrows (either side)
A thinker and good adviser who speaks well and has charm.
Right eyebrow
Good-natured, polite and gentle, and successful in what they do.
Tail of the eyebrow
Very charming, well spoken and well liked, sociable and fond of a challenge. A mole just below the tail of the brow is less favourable, linked with impatience and friction with relatives.
Between the eyebrows
Readings differ: some describe someone kind and fair who cares about their image and solves problems quickly; others describe a romantic who finds it hard to settle with one partner. One old reading links this spot with a delicate constitution.
Eyes and eyelids
Upper eyelid
Often read as worry about home and housing. On the left upper eyelid near the start of the brow: a person others rely on, loved by many, with good children. Near the tail of the right brow: steady progress with no fall from success.
Inner corner of the eye
Strong-minded, clever and confident, fond of challenges but with a fierce temper; choose good company.
Outer corner of the eye
Sociable, fond of fun and travel, and generous with money, though life may be unsettled; relationships need care. On the right outer corner: careful, alert, clever and well liked, with progress through their own ability.
Under the eye
Soft-hearted and easily moved to tears, trusting yet clever and fair, rising through their own talent. Some readings warn of romantic disappointment or being misled by an admirer. Under the right eye toward the outer corner: steady progress through life.
In the eye
Clever and good at making money, brave and quick-tempered; relationships need patience and calm problem-solving.
Nose
Bridge of the nose
Very fortunate: intelligent, principled and successful in everything. Another reading describes a sociable person who loves new experiences, has many talents and always finds help.
Tip of the nose
Readings differ widely. One sees prosperity and success in all things; another a rare intuition and calm courage. Others warn of family difficulties or periods living apart from loved ones for work.
Side of the nose
Patient, hard-working and intelligent, which leads to a prosperous and smooth life (especially on the left). A mole close to the nostril shows a curious mind, artistic talent and support from elders.
Nose in general
Quick, passionate and loyal to partners and friends, determined and successful, often travelling over water.
Inside the nostril
Very quick and persevering, and lucky in love.
Cheeks
Both cheeks
Diligent, kind and honest, patient and fond of sport, with success that comes from real effort. Two or more moles on the cheek bring a calm, simple life with steady luck.
Left cheek
Charming, sociable, intelligent and hard-working, loves progress, fun and the arts. Toward the chin: you may care for or adopt someone else's child.
Right cheek
Spontaneous and quick to trust; life goes well with the right partner, and settling down brings stability.
Cheekbones
Left cheekbone: generous, fond of good deeds and successful away from home. Right cheekbone: should take care not to put their own interests before others.
Cheek near the ear
Calm, careful and honest, respected by everyone, with a good position and reputation.
On the cheekbone close to the face's edge
Prone to arguments; choose words carefully.
Ears
In front of the ear
A fighter with ambition who does not give up, proud but generous. Right side: clever and self-made. Left side: far-sighted and good at trade.
On the ear
Good at saving, ending up with plenty put aside. On the upper ear: a life with few obstacles. On the left earlobe: a thinker who loves reasoning and is very bright.
Behind the ear
Readings range from lifelong financial luck to a very capable, orderly, private person whose happiness grows after middle age.
Both ears
A restless spirit who loves to travel.
Lips, mouth and tongue
Upper lip
A gifted talker who can make people laugh or cry, sociable, charming and fun-loving; well suited to work in tourism or public relations. One reading advises keeping a cool head.
Lower lip
Loves and takes responsibility for the family, and is a good cook. Another reading warns against a short temper.
Corners of the mouth
Enjoys good food and love, patient and determined; first attempts may fail, but success follows. Some readings advise looking after your health.
Below the mouth
A life of physical work; some readings advise thinking before speaking. Below the lip near the chin on the left: take care around water.
Tongue
A sign of a good and well-regarded marriage partner.
Chin and jaw
Chin
A quiet, diligent person who loves to travel and usually reaches their goals, with good friends and family. Another reading describes a sharp, quick, well-organised mind; a mole near the centre of the chin can mean frequent moves of home or job.
Right side of the chin
Many talents and luck at work, with honour in public service.
Left side of the chin
Persevering and patient, though they should think before they speak.
Under the chin
A lover of good food; this person should take care to be sincere and considerate in what they say.
Right jaw
Serious, determined and confident, a natural leader who is respected by others.
Left jaw
A charming talker who gets out of trouble easily, though they should take care that their words can be trusted.
Scalp (above the hairline)
Responsible, sincere and trustworthy, clever and fair, and successful at work.
