Zodiacal releasing

Zodiacal releasing is a Hellenistic timing technique described by Vettius Valens in the 2nd century. Starting from the sign of a Lot, time is “released” from sign to sign, each sign lasting its traditional number of years, with shorter sub-periods inside. The Lot of Spirit times career and the actions you choose; the Lot of Fortune times the body, health and circumstances. Periods in the 10th sign from the Lot are the peaks of your life.
