Progressed Chart Calculator
Secondary progressions use one simple rule: each day after your birth stands for one year of your life. The sky on the 31st day after you were born describes your inner development at age 30. Solar arc directions move every point of the birth chart forward by the distance the progressed Sun has travelled, about one degree a year. Astrologers use both together to time life chapters.
About progressions
Secondary progressions are the most widely used forecasting method in modern Western astrology. Because the progressed Sun moves about a degree a year, it changes sign roughly every 30 years, while the faster progressed Moon marks shorter emotional seasons. This calculator uses the tropical zodiac and Placidus houses.
